Some people prefer to try new things, while other people enjoy remaining inside of their own comfort zone. Here is how each personality feels about tedious tasks.


INFJs truly dislike tedious activities, and can become very drained by them. INFJs enjoy being able to participate in activities that feel meaningful and sincere. When it comes to monotonous tasks INFJs can find themselves accomplishing them with ease though, and may enjoy some time to let their minds wander. There are things about these tasks that INFJs do not mind, but after a while it becomes rather annoying for them. Too many tedious and pointless tasks causes the INFJ to feel a bit listless, and like their lives might lack a sense of purpose. They want to participate in things that make them feel like they are truly doing something of value with their lives.


ENFJs don’t mind activities that are a bit tedious, especially if it is in support of their loved ones. Their main goal is to accomplish tasks that will help make the lives of those closest to them much happier. ENFJs often push themselves to do things they dislike, for the well-bring of others. They are compassionate and extremely giving people, which makes them wonderful companions. They will often do whatever it takes to make their loved ones happy, which sometimes means taking part in tedious tasks. These tasks can bring the ENFJ joy if they realize it is helping someone in need, even if it is a task that exhausts the ENFJ.


INFPs definitely despise tedious activities and become completely bored with them. INFPs enjoy being able to switch things up, and need to be able to try new things. If their activities keep them bored and stuck, they will become exhausted by them rather quickly. INFPs really don’t like monotonous tasks, especially ones that require them to maintain constant focus. INFPs are imaginative people, who enjoy being able to explore their own rich inner minds. ENFPs are naturally creative people, who love to try new things. When it comes to performing monotonous tasks, the ENFP will become quickly bored and drained by this. They prefer to participate in things that challenge them and push them to grow. ENFPs enjoy newness, and love any sort of job that helps them grow and challenge themselves. They certainly do not like having to do the same boring task over and over again, and will become unbelievably bored. ENFPs need excitement and challenges in order to keep them interested. They do best in jobs that allow them to expand their minds and develop new skills.


INTJs definitely do not enjoy tedious tasks, especially ones that create no opportunity for growth. They can certainly perform these tasks, and in some cases might enjoy being able to let their minds wander. If the INTJ has to perform these tasks too often though, they will become quickly bored and drained. They prefer to participate in things that help expand their minds, and stretch their knowledge. INTJs want to always challenge themselves, so they enjoy being able to take on activities that help them do this. They are intelligent people, who become happiest when they are absorbing new knowledge.


ENTJs are driven people, who strive to accomplish their many lofty goals in life. They work hard and will overcome many obstacles in order to get where they want to be. ENTJs often dislike tedious tasks, especially if they feel like they aren’t actually getting them anywhere. They prefer to do things that will help them grow and improve as much as possible. ENTJs will certainly perform these tasks if they must in order to progress in their careers, but they would much prefer things that are more challenging and creative.


INTPs enjoy being able to enjoy their inner minds and explore new possibilities. When it comes to tedious tasks the INTP can become both frustrated and annoyed. They do not enjoy having to perform the same boring task over and over again. INTPs prefer absorbing new knowledge and want to learn as much as they can. They want to be able to explore new possibilities and truly enjoy trying different things. Staying stagnant makes INTPs miserable, especially when it comes to performing the same task over and over again.


ENTPs are enthusiastic people who enjoy absorbing new things, and don’t like to stay stagnant. When it comes to performing monotonous tasks, ENTPs can become rather miserable. They absolutely hate doing the same boring thing over and over again, and will become rather anxious. ENTPs like change and enjoy being able to challenge themselves and work on growing. When it comes to performing the same tedious tasks, the ENTP will become rather unhappy. They need to be able to work in careers that inspire them and make them feel more alive.


ISTJs definitely do not mind tedious activities, especially if it helps them progress in life. They are skilled at performing the same tasks since it allows them to perfect their skills. ISTJs are hardworking people who will do whatever it takes to get things done. Monotonous tasks allows the ISTJ to feel comfortable with what they are doing, and learn how to be the best they can be. They don’t mind doing the same things, especially since trying something new can actually be unnerving for ISTJs.


ESTJs are hardworking people who enjoy getting things done efficiently. They do not mind tedious tasks, especially ones they know how to properly perform. Having something they can perfect helps the ESTJ feel confident and impressive to others. They will become frustrated if this is in a dead end career though, and truly need to be able to progress and move up. ESTJs don’t mind monotonous tasks though, since they find that it is something they can excel at quite a bit.


ISFJs do not mind tedious tasks, especially if they are getting something important done. They often have a planned out schedule which helps them keep their day organized. ISFJs have many tasks which they perform in order to tend to the needs of their loved ones. They don’t mind performing monotonous tasks, especially since it often means they are capable of perfecting those chores. When the ISFJ can learn something well they enjoy being able to do it with ease. They often have so many different things on their minds, so it helps them to have tasks that easy to perform.


ESFJs don’t mind performing tedious tasks, especially if they have gotten used to those tasks. They want to be able to care for their loved ones, and work hard to do so. ESFJs don’t mind performing tasks that are a bit monotonous, and can often do this naturally. They likely have a million other things on their minds, so it helps to be performing tasks that are second nature for them. ESFJs don’t mind doing things they already know how to do, and might even feel more comfortable in this sort of situation. They can sometimes become more anxious with new activities, and enjoy things they understand.


ISTPs are adventurous people who enjoy being able to live in the present moment. They don’t enjoy being stuck doing the same boring task, and will become a bit anxious. They want to be able to change things up, and enjoy having life be exciting. ISTPs can become extremely exhausted by monotonous tasks, and want to live actively in the present moment. ISTPs prefer tasks that challenge their mind and push them to grow and progress. They do not want to participate in anything that simply wastes their time and makes them feel stagnant.


ESTPs are naturally driven people, who want to go after their goals. They don’t mind certain monotonous tasks, especially ones they know they can perform well. ESTPs want to impress others, especially in the workplace so they will work hard to be the best they can. When the ESTP does perfect those tedious tasks, they will want to grow in their position. The ESTP does enjoy a challenge, and will eventually become exhausted if things are too stagnant for a long time. They enjoy adventure and excitement in their lives and will intentionally make a mess of things just to switch it up.


ISFPs are adventurous people who enjoy exploring new things. They become extremely bored by tedious activities and dislike being stuck in one place. ISFPs enjoy being enthusiastic about life and enjoy exploring the world around them. They want to soak up the beauty in the present moment and do not want to be stagnant. ISFPs often despise monotonous tasks, and will become very frustrated by them. ISFPs love living in the present, and truly dislike anything that hold them back.


ESFPs are fun-loving people who enjoy living in the present moment. They often despise any sort of tedious task, especially when it comes to planning boring activities. They want to enjoy the moment and love soaking up the beauty in the world around them. ESFPs want adventure in their lives, and want to be able to try new things. They definitely do not want to participate in anything that keeps them stagnant and bores them. ESFPs want to experience joy, and constantly want to try new things.
