Here’s How Easily Distracted You Are, Based on Your Personality Type

While some people can remain focused, others are easily distracted. Here is how easily distracted each personality type most likely is.

INFJ

INFJs are very internal and introspective people, which can lead them to become distracted by their own thoughts. INFJs are rarely distracted by external things, and instead become drawn inward. They have such rich and active inner minds, and often find their headspace to be a much safer place to be. While INFJs work hard to maintain focus, they sometimes become distracted. They aren’t the type of people to appear all that distracted though, and are skilled at keeping their thoughts to themselves. They do try to be present when it comes to their loved ones, and find themselves capable of listening to the people they care for.

ENFJ

ENFJs are very driven and focused people, who are constantly on the move. They have a way of juggling a million tasks at once, and because of this they aren’t as easily distracted. They know that they have a lot of responsibility on their shoulders, and they take that seriously. ENFJs are always caring for everyone else, and will not want to become distracted by anything else. They want to be sure that their loved ones are happy, so they work hard to maintain a sense of focus. While ENFJs do have a lot on their minds, they manage to keep it all together.

INFP

INFPs have rather active inner minds, and intense imaginations. They are always thinking about many different thoughts at once, which can cause them to become distracted. They don’t intend to be so easily distracted, they simply have a lot going on inside of their minds. INFPs enjoy exploring new possibilities, and prefer to keep an open mind. They have so much depth that INFPs often struggle to keep their focus in one place. They also become bored rather easily, and need to find a way to free themselves of stagnancy.

ENFP

ENFPs are certainly easily distracted people, and enjoy exploring new things. They love constantly pushing their own boundaries and absolutely hate staying stagnant. ENFPs often have a fear of missing out, and don’t want to become stuck in one place. They enjoy opening their minds to new things, and often have a million thoughts running through their mind all at once. ENFPs do become distracted by the many possibilities that the world has to offer them, and enjoy letting their minds wander.

INTJ

INTJs are actually rather focused people, and rarely become distracted unless they want to. If the INTJ is stuck in a dull situation, they can become caught up in their own thoughts. They have so many rich and full thoughts inside of their minds, and often enjoy spending most of their time running through these ideas. While INTJs are capable of focusing on one thing without distractions, it is usually only something that they find interesting. INTJs can become easily bored by people who talk too much, or by shallow meaningless topics.

ENTJ

ENTJs are focused and driven people, who value efficiency. They don’t become distracted when they are working on something important, and prefer to remain alert. Their minds are active places, but they are used to keeping control of their thoughts when they must. ENTJs simply dislike being around boring people, and might become distracted when speaking with these types. ENTJs do have a lot of self-control though, and are capable of avoiding distractions if they feel it is necessary.

INTP

INTPs have rather intense imaginations, and rich inner minds. They always seem to have a million ideas running around inside their heads, which can be a bit distracting sometimes. While INTPs enjoy being able to focus, they can sometimes struggle with this. Their minds are always filled with such activity, that they become easily distracted by it. INTPs are rarely distracted by external stimulus, and actually feel more inclined to bury themselves inside of their own thoughts. They simply have so many ideas that the INTP has a hard time keeping them all in check.

ENTP

ENTPs are definitely easily distracted people, since they enjoy exploring new things. They despise stagnancy and want to be able to let their imaginations run wild. ENTPs can become distracted by anything that interests or intrigues them, and do not want to be held back. They enjoy feeling free to explore, and loving being able to try new things. ENTPs have such active inner minds that their thoughts can often run away from them, leading them away from whatever situation they are currently in. They don’t always intend to become so easily distracted, but they don’t hold themselves back feeling guilty about it.
