The Enneagram Tritype system combines three primary Enneagram types to provide a more comprehensive understanding of an individual’s personality. The 387 Tritype, known as the “Realist,” is composed of the Enneagram types 3, 8, and 7.

Let’s take a closer look at each type within the 387 Tritype:

Type 3, “The Achiever”: As the dominant type, individuals with Type 3 are driven by the desire for success, recognition, and achievement. They are often ambitious, hardworking, and focused on presenting a polished and successful image to others.

Type 8, “The Challenger”: Occupying the secondary position, Type 8 adds elements of assertiveness, independence, and a desire for control. Individuals with Type 8 tendencies are often confident, strong-willed, and unafraid to confront challenges and stand up for themselves and others.

Type 7, “The Enthusiast”: Completing the tritype, Type 7 brings a sense of spontaneity, optimism, and a thirst for new experiences. Individuals with Type 7 traits are often enthusiastic, adaptable, and constantly seeking opportunities for fun and adventure.

When combined, the 387 Tritype represents a unique personality profile. Individuals with this tritype are often driven to succeed, enjoy being in control of their own lives, and value experiencing a sense of freedom and joy. They are typically goal-oriented, assertive, and have a zest for life.

The 387 Tritype individuals are often characterized by their ability to balance work and play. They can switch between being focused and driven to achieve their goals (Type 3), assertively standing up for themselves and others (Type 8), and seeking new and exciting experiences (Type 7).

However, it’s important to remember that the tritype is just one aspect of someone’s overall personality, and it may not capture all the complexities of an individual. People are multidimensional and influenced by various factors beyond their tritype.
