Here’s How Good You Are at Prioritizing, Based on Your Personality Type

For some people being able to juggle many things comes naturally because they are so good at prioritizing what is most important. They know which things matter most to them and they can hone in on those issues. Here is how good at prioritizing you are, based on your personality type.

INFJ

INFJs do try to prioritize the things that are truly important to them, but it can be difficult at times. The struggle for the INFJ is often learning how to prioritize their own needs so they can truly learn what is most important to them. They often struggle to figure out how to balance the needs of others and their own needs properly. INFJs can however prioritize the things in life that need to be done, and can keep organized and focused when they have to be. They understand that life needs to contain both serious actions, and things that are simply for enjoyment.

ENFJ

ENFJs are definitely capable of prioritizing the more important things in life. They know how to remain focused instead of getting caught up on living in the moment too much. They realize that having fun is also important, but they know where it lies on their list of priorities. Where ENFJs can struggle is when they prioritize others needs far too high above their own, and neglect themselves entirely. While the ENFJ is excellent at juggling many different things and learning which task to prioritize, they struggle when it comes to prioritizing themselves.

INFP

INFPs aren’t really focused on prioritizing the important things, but rather the things they value personally. While many people believe it is important to focus on getting things done and often believe in doing the hard work first, INFPs can become easily distracted from this. They follow their hearts and emotions in order to prioritize what they value most, and this can sometimes cause them to forget certain tasks. INFPs aren’t always great at keeping up with the boring day-to-day things, so their idea of prioritizing can be a little different than most.

ENFP

ENFPs can struggle when it comes to prioritizing certain things, since they follow their emotions with a lot of things. They can sometimes forgo the more important work that needs to be done, in order to enjoy something they are passionate about. While to some this seems like ENFPs might not be great at prioritizing, to the ENFP it simply means they are living their lives on their own terms. They can become distracted from the things that seem more important, simply because their minds are constantly going from one idea to the next rather quickly.

INTJ

INTJs are definitely skilled at prioritizing what it most important to them. They are efficient people who value knowledge and progress above most things. INTJs can often take on new challenges because they know how to prioritize each step. This comes from both their ability to problem solve and their strong sense of intuition. INTJs can often tell which path will make the most sense, and this helps them to navigate which things to make their top priority in order to be successful.

ENTJ

ENTJs are naturally good at prioritizing the things that are most important. They believe in being efficient and constantly working towards a more positive future. ENTJs can use their intuition in order to figure out which things need to be prioritized in order to make the most progress. They work hard in order to get things done and don’t allow anything to stand in their way. ENTJs are excellent at prioritizing their goals, but sometimes they struggle with prioritizing the emotions of their loved ones.

INTP

INTPs can struggle with prioritizing certain things, since their minds jump from one thing to the next rather quickly. They can sometimes become distracted from the thing they are doing, to something that seems more intriguing to them. INTPs simply become bored easily because their minds are so active. They don’t always prioritize certain chores or tasks that are required of them, and would rather focus on the things they are truly interested in. While INTPs can problem solve and figure out which things they should prioritize, they aren’t always great at following through.

ENTP

ENTPs can sometimes struggle with prioritizing the more “important” things, since they value them differently than most. ENTPs have active inner minds which cause them to become distracted easily at times. Prioritizing the more boring work that needs to be done can be difficult for them, but not impossible. They are intuitive problem solvers, and will often find a way to prioritize those tasks but still be able to become distracted from time to time. ENTPs know how to get things done, they just don’t always feel the desire to do it.

ISTJ

ISTJs are excellent at prioritizing the things they believe are most important. They will put in the work in order to get things done as efficiently as possible. ISTJs aren’t afraid of taking on a challenge, and will simply find the right way to juggle their situation. ISTJs are good at putting aside momentary pleasure in order to get the more important work taken care of. They know that it is better to get those things done so that they can truly relax when the time comes to do so.

ESTJ

ESTJs are often good at prioritizing in order to become more efficient in what they do. ESTJs are focused on pushing forward and want to be able to get things done with a certain level of pride and excellence. They are skilled at figuring out which tasks to take on so that they don’t become overwhelmed. They know that it is important to get the more difficult work taken care of, so that they can truly enjoy themselves later on. ESTJs often know how to be stern and focused, without allowing distractions to pull them away.

ISFJ

ISFJs are often good at prioritizing their tasks in order to get things done efficiently. They often know how to juggle and keep many different things going at once. ISFJs can forgo their momentary pleasures in order to get things done that are truly important. They aren’t focused on living in the moment, so it becomes easier for them to take care of things without hesitation. ISFJs can sometimes forget to prioritize themselves and their needs though, which is something they often need to overcome.

ESFJ

ESFJs often know how to prioritize and juggle many tasks at once. They can figure out which things need to be taken care of first, and which can go a little longer before being completed. This helps the ESFJ since they are constantly trying to take care of their loved ones and make sure they are provided for. Their desire to tend to the needs of others is a big reason why the ESFJ learns to prioritize things well. Where they can struggle is when it comes to prioritizing their own needs, since they often neglect them.

ISTP

ISTPs do know how to prioritize the more important things, but there are times when they simply don’t care to. They live in the present, which causes the ISTP to become distracted by things they are more excited by. They don’t like being held back by responsibilities, even if they know they have to take care of them. While ISTPs can become distracted by the things they find more intriguing, they will certainly try to prioritize when they can.

ESTP

ESTPs live very much in the present moment which can make it challenging for them to prioritize at times. They can become so caught up in enjoying the moment that they forget to do things that need to be done. ESTPs don’t like having to be responsible for too many things, but they often find themselves in these positions nonetheless. They want to be free to enjoy tings without having to constantly take care of boring chores. ESTPs will get their work done when they have to, but they often procrastinate until the last minute.

ISFP

ISFPs aren’t great at prioritizing, simply because they allow their emotions to be their guide. They live very much in the present moment and enjoy being able to experience a sense of freedom. ISFPs don’t like having to be held back by responsibilities, and become a bit bored by them at times. They do struggle with prioritizing the more boring and mundane tasks, and would much rather find something they are passionate about.

ESFP

ESFPs can struggle when it comes to prioritizing things, since they do become distracted easily. They are often so caught up in the moment that they can lose sight of the things they were supposed to do. ESFPs don’t mean to be this way, they simply dislike having to focus on things that they aren’t passionate about. There are times when the ESFP will find themselves distracted, and will be focusing on something that truly is not a priority.
