Some people have naturally analytical minds, while others prefer to focus on the present. Here is how analytical each personality type actually is.

INFJ

INFJs are actually very analytical people, even though this isn’t always obvious to others. They are more focused on the emotions of others, and will prioritize being sensitive to people. INFJs are actually extremely logical and analytical people, and sometimes have a hard time stopping their own thoughts. INFJs actually analyze many things, including their own actions- they will often run through different scenarios in their minds in hopes of finding the best course of action. INFJs also enjoy analyzing information that they receive, and love absorbing new knowledge. Their over-analytical ways can sometimes become frustrating for INFJs, and will cause them to doubt their own actions. They simply have minds that are extremely complicated and observant, which makes it difficult for them to calm their thoughts.

ENFJ

ENFJs are mainly focused on the emotional needs of others, but they are analytical people. They have a knack for balancing many different things at once, which often takes thought and planning in order to do so. ENFJs will often analyze the actions of others, as well as their own actions, in order to properly gauge a situation. They can become strongly focused on what the right course of action might be, which can cause ENFJs to overthink things. They also enjoy analyzing information, and love learning about different subjects. They actually like analyzing information and trying to challenge their own minds to understand something new.

INFPs are extremely independent people, and enjoy spending much of their time alone. They are actually extremely analytical people, and can struggle to calm their own thoughts down. INFPs have extremely active inner minds, which often makes them very analytical people. Analyzing comes naturally for INTJs, and is often a great way for them to gather knowledge and come up with their own well educated conclusions. INTJs don’t just believe everything they hear or read, and prefer to analyze their information further.

ENTJ

ENTJs are definitely analytical people, and love to absorb as much information as possible. They are very driven people, and often use their own analytical minds in order to come to better conclusions. ENTJs usually like to think things through before moving forward, in order to properly plan their strategies. They often enjoy analyzing information, and actually thrive when they have the opportunity to spend plenty of time analyzing. ENTJs are definitely social people, but they enjoy having space to observe and think without feeling smothered.

INTP

INTPs are extremely analytical people, and often cannot get their minds to stop running through different ideas. They can often struggle with overthinking things, simply because they have intensely rich and active inner minds. INTPs love being able to have plenty of space to absorb and analyze information. They dislike just believing everything they hear or read, and prefer spending plenty of time running this information through their own minds. INTPs are naturally analytical people, and actually struggle to turn this off more than anything else.

ENTP

ENTPs are naturally analytical people and actually enjoy being able to observe and explore different ideas. Being able to take information and analyze it in many different ways, is one of the greatest joys for an ENTP. They actually enjoy debating from different points of view because it helps them get a better idea of different sides of the story. To an ENTP this is a great way to gather all of the necessary information and helps them to properly come to conclusions. They are natural analyzers, and use their active minds as a way to understand different information.

ISTJ

ISTJs are very driven people and prefer to focus on practical means to getting things done. They are not generally focused on emotions, since they don’t see any logical reason for exploring those feelings. ISTJs definitely have analytical minds, and enjoy being able fully understanding different things. Before trying something new ISTJs will always do as much research as possible and will try to understand the information fully. They hate feeling like they aren’t well equipped for something, and prefer to analyze and understand the processes beforehand.

ESTJ

ESTJs are more practical than they are analytical, and prefer to get things done. They are very focused on performing the important tasks that other people might avoid. ESTJs are capable of doing research but they are often more hands on learners. They are naturally skilled at performing and will push themselves to be better than everyone around them. ESTJs might not love analyzing, since it can often be a distraction from getting important tasks done.

ISFJ

ISFJs are mainly focused on caring for the needs of others, and are generally not focused on analyzing information. They are perfectly capable of researching and comprehending information, they simply have other things on their minds. ISFJs are often so sensitive to the feelings of others, that their thoughts can become clouded by the desire to care for people. ISFJs are hardworking people and have very big hearts, but they do enjoy being alone. During their alone time ISFJs can sometimes analyze the intentions of others people, but they often try avoid these thoughts.

ESFJ

ESFJs are caring people and are mainly focused on caring for the needs of others. They are definitely capable of analyzing information, and often overthink their own actions. ESFJs are so focused on caring for others that sometimes they can put too much pressure on themselves to get things right. This can cause the ESFJ to overthink their own actions and analyze every detail in hopes that they didn’t fail someone else. They also go through stages of being intensely analytical, which is usually during times of serious stress.

ISTP

ISTPs are definitely analytical people, and they actually love diving into different information. They love analyzing the facts and finding a way to better implement their own ideas. ISTPs are often great at hands on work, which makes them enjoy being able to take their information and actually make it work. They are naturally skilled at observing and analyzing, and actually prefer to have plenty of space to do this. ISTPs are independent people, especially since they have such active inner minds.

ESTP

ESTPs love to research and dive into different information, they are naturally skilled at absorbing knowledge. They are driven people but can sometimes get caught up in their own thoughts. ESTPs prefer to remain focused on moving forward and live their lives in the present moment. Sometimes ESTPs can overthink things when they are alone for too long, which can result in negative thoughts. ISFP

ISFPs are not generally seen as analytical people, since they prefer to live in the present moment. They are often focused on aesthetics and have a knack for seeing the beauty in the world around them. Overanalyzing can often cause the ISFP to become upset and will weigh them down with negative thoughts. They prefer to focus on things that make them happy, and love being able to soak up the positivity in the world around them.

ESFP

ESFPs are definitely not analytical people, and prefer to bring positivity to their surroundings. They are mainly focused on living in the present moment, and hate being weighed down by negativity. ESFPs love being around people that they care for, and simply want to make others smile. ESFPs do not enjoy analyzing things, since it can only lead to them feeling upset or dwelling on sadness. They would much rather take things for face value, and don’t see a point in wasting their time analyzing.
