Here’s How Much of a Jack of all Trades You Are, Based on Your Personality Type

Some people are naturally skilled at just about everything they do, while others are best honing their skills towards one direction. Here’s how much of a jack of all trades you are, based on your personality type.

INFJ

INFJs are definitely multi-talented people, who often possess a wide range of skills. They might feel like they aren’t perfect enough to consider themselves a jack of all trades, but they often do possess many different talents. INFJs are usually good at just about anything they set their minds to, and often have skills which range from sciences to literature. INFJs don’t find themselves stuck in one way of thinking or in one type of skill, often finding themselves capable of expanding towards different subjects.

ENFJ

The ENFJ is definitely a jack of all trades, often capable of taking care of many different tasks. They often find themselves capable of understanding many different subjects, ones that don’t even relate to each other. ENFJs are perfectionists and will strive to be great at just about everything they do in life. They don’t enjoy feeling like they aren’t good at something and so they will work to improve themselves. For the ENFJ it is important to be a jack of all trades, so that they can please the ones around them.

INFP

INFPs enjoy being able to experience many different things, and don’t like just being stuck in one subject. They often find themselves capable of trying out different tasks which they can be good at. While they do have their limitations, it is often in the subjects which they find cold and boring. INFPs are often skilled at many things, they just don’t always find themselves interested enough to pursue everything out there.

ENFP

The ENFP is often the epitome of the jack of all trades, often capable of doing many different things. They are usually interested in so many subjects, and dislike only sticking to one or two. ENFPs are capable of adapting to new situations so that they can continue to learn and grow. Their minds can often comprehend and follow some of the more challenging subjects, without much of a struggle. This helps the ENFP uncover more information and learn new skills in ways that many people can’t.

INTJ

INTJs are often adaptable people who work to constantly improve themselves. While there are certain things they might not naturally be adept in, the INTJ will find a way to better themselves. They might not be considered a natural jack of a trades, but they work to make themselves this way. Their intelligence and eagerness helps the INTJ find a way to be good at just about everything they do. They don’t like feeling like they have fallen short, and so they use their intuition and their minds in order to improve themselves.

ENTJ

ENTJs do like to think of themselves as multi-talented people, who can adapt to many new situations. While they are definitely are skilled people who work to constantly improve themselves, there might be some subjects they become frustrated with. Most of the time though ENTJs surprise people with their ability to jump from one type of skill to the next. While most ENTJs are business minded people, some are also rather artistic. They like being able to advance and don’t want to be stuck in one type of ability.

INTP

INTPs definitely are capable of many different tasks and skills, making them a bit of a jack of all trades. They can often adapt to new situations and learn how to develop their abilities in new things. INTPs are good at expanding and dislike remaining stagnant for too long. They can become bored easily, which is what helps them develop skills in different areas, so that they can entertain themselves and their own curiosity.

ENTP

ENTPs are definitely the jack of all trades type, often capable of doing many different things. They like to expand and continue to grow and can often adapt to just about anything. ENTPs find themselves interested in a wide range of subjects and enjoy diving in head first. For them holding back is only going to limit them from reaching their full potential. ENTPs are definitely creative and curious people who like expanding their skills to many different subjects.

ISTJ

ISTJs are often focused people who prefer to move forward on the skills that can help them. They strive to get things done and don’t like branching out more than they need to. While ISTJs are often adaptable and capable people they would much rather focus on what they know and can already do well. ISTJs will hone in on the skills that can actually benefit them, and believe that those things are where they should spend their energy.

ESTJ

ESTJs definitely strive to be good at everything they do, but they don’t need to be a jack of all trades. They are more interested in honing in on the skills they require to advance in their careers and lives. ESTJs simply want to get things done as efficiently as possible, which means focusing their skills. If they are constantly bouncing from one things to the next it can only hold them back from doing what they need to do.

ISFJ

ISFJs strive to be good at move things, but are more interested in focusing on their loved ones. They don’t feel like they need to branch out and develop skills in things that can’t really help them. ISFJs don’t feel a desire to constantly try new things, instead they focus on the things they know and understand. Their main goal is to take care of others and make sure that there is peace in their environment. Because of this goal ISFJs don’t really need to be a jack of all trades, they just need to take care of what matters to them.

ESFJ

ESFJs definitely strive to be good at everything they do and can be perfectionists because of it. They often can feel like a jack of all trades, but not quite a master of any. They work to be good at things so that they can take care of their loved ones and make others happy. ESFJs are people pleasers and they don’t want to disappoint anyone they love. They work hard to provide and take care of everyone and sometimes this means developing new skills for them.

ISTP

ISTPs definitely have an ability to adapt and develop their skills in different subjects. They can sometimes be seen as a jack of all trades, since they do enjoy being able to try new things and are often good at just about anything they do. ISTPs are problem solvers and this helps them figure out just about anything that is in front of them.

ESTP

ESTPs can often be the jack of all trades but might not be a master of any. They can often dive into new subjects and will be adept in them, but they might not perfect any of them. They are capable people who like being able to learn and grow in different ways. ESTPs don’t like failing at anything they do so they strive to work hard and get things done the best they can.

ISFP

ISFPs definitely like adapting their skills in different ways, but they aren’t necessarily seen as the jack of all trades. This is simply because they would rather focus on things they are passionate about, than focus on many different things. ISFPs like being able to hone in on their interests, even though they do like trying new things when they can. They do enjoy unique subjects but ISFPs don’t like having to experience things that will not excite them.

ESFP

ESFPs are often surprising people who are capable of doing a little bit of everything. While they might not enjoy certain subjects or hobbies, they can be shockingly good at them. They aren’t to be underestimated and can often find ways of improving their abilities in many different directions. ESFPs enjoy trying new things and simply don’t like having to focus on the same subjects.
