Being a party or event host can be a stressful thing, even for people who are naturally skilled at it. Here is how each personality type acts as a host.

INFJ

INFJs are surprisingly good with people, even if they don’t personally believe so. They are often well-read and know how to community in a warm and welcoming tone. INFJs simply dislike having to hose an event, and will often feel like it is far too much pressure. If the INFJ were to host a party, they would be most likely to entertain a small gathering of people in a much more intimate setting. They dislike loud and over the top parties, and much prefer a more quiet setting. INFJs would much rather give people the options and allow them to do whatever they please. They want people to feel comfortable, not pressured.

ENFJ

ENFJs are excellent hosts, whether it be for parties or even larger events. They know just how to make everyone feel entertained, and will go above and beyond to ensure the entire group is happy. ENFJs often enjoy being able to bring people together, and are skilled at helping to facilitate conversation in a group of people. The ENFJ is also great at paying attention to the details and will notice when someone is not enjoying themselves. They can often provide a wide array of activities in order to help everyone become a part of the event.

INFP

INFPs are certainly not the types of people to enjoy hosting an event or party. They are not fans of having to organize a group of people and bring them together in this way. INFPs are surprisingly good at entertaining their friends and making them laugh and feel comfortable, but they definitely aren’t known as natural hosts. They simply because anxious when they are forced to perform in such a way, and dislike feeling like they are forcing other’s to have a good time. INFPs would much rather be around close friends in a more calm and intimate setting.

ENFP

ENFPs are definitely charismatic people, who love having a good time with their friends. They are social and outgoing, but they don’t make for the most conventional hosts. An event held by an ENFP will likely be a bit chaotic, and much less scheduled than most. They dislike forcing people to do anything, and would much rather have a plethora of options available to everyone. They also can bounce from one thought to the next rather quickly, ad will become bored and want to change the activities at hand. ENFPs are great at being spontaneous which can make their parties exciting and surprising.

INTJ

INTJs as hosts are often very well prepared and maybe a bit rehearsed. They hate walking into any situation without feeling knowledgeable and prepared about what they have to do. INTJs certainly don’t enjoy having to be the host of a party, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be capable of handling it. They often prefer to be by themselves, and enjoy being able to do their own thing. The INTJ as a host will often be courteous and will provide everything that they should in order to make everyone comfortable. INTJs are often seen as event hosts simply because they have enough knowledge to inform others, which is often a good inspiration for them to perform well.

ENTJ

ENTJs are actually very good hosts, especially since they have outgoing and exciting personalities. They are not afraid of taking charge, and will do what they can to make sure everyone is participating. The ENTJ as a host are often larger than life and eager to keep everyone entertained. They often enjoy getting people together, and are great at ensuring everyone has what they need. The ENTJ might be strict at work events, but at the same time they know how to make things fun and enjoyable. INTP

ENTPs actually enjoy feeling pressured, and love to push themselves outside of their own comfort zone. ISTJ

ISTJs are very prepared people and will often do what they can to be a great host. They hate feeling like they have failed at anything, which will cause the ISTJ to research and push themselves to be great. They might not want to host an event or party, but they can certainly push themselves to do it. ISTJs are smart and organized people, which helps them when it comes to hosting. They also know how to be cordial and friendly during their event. ISTJs as a host are organized and prepared for whatever the people attending might need.

ESTJ

ESTJs are definitely outgoing people, which helps them when it comes to hosting events. They are also great at delegating work, which helps them when it comes to planning and preparing for an event. They will often have people helping them get things organized and nice, but they are also good at doing it themselves. ESTJs will use their outgoing personalities to ensure that everyone is entertained and feeling comfortable. ESTPs as hosts are often entertaining and outgoing people. They don’t necessarily volunteer to host events or parties, but they are often capable of doing it. They prefer to attend these types of events, and dislike feeling the pressure of having to perform well. ESTPs will often find ways to pull the event together last minute, and will still be able to keep everyone entertained. ESFP

As a host ESFPs are often fun and exciting, and will enjoy being the center of attention. They are also great at planning parties, and will have a great theme in their heads. They might not be seen as the most organized people, but they are surprisingly good when it comes to parties and events. With things the ESFP finds fun and enjoyable, they are often capable of becoming organized and put together. ESFPs are natural entertainers, which helps them to ensure everyone is enjoying themselves at the event.
