Here’s How Accommodating You Are, Based on Your Personality Type

Here’s How Accommodating You Are, Based on Your Personality Type

While some people are extremely accommodating, others would prefer that people be more independent. Here is how accommodating you are, based on your personality type.

INFJ

INFJs are very accommodating people, and will often do what they can to make others comfortable. They have a naturally calming demeanor, especially around the people they truly like. If they are in a situation where someone needs assistance or certain things to make them more at ease, INFJs are excellent at finds ways to accommodate this. INFJs often make great hosts because of their ability to comfort others and make sure they are at ease in their environment. Its best when they are with their loved ones though, since they will know exactly how to accommodate their needs.

ENFJ

ENFJs are extremely accommodating people, which makes them excellent at hosting parties. They know how to make everyone comfortable and will go out of their way to accomplish this. It is natural for ENFJs to be accommodating people, they are good at working hard to help others and make them feel at ease. ENFJs will often compromise their own happiness in order to help someone else and ensure that they are comfortable.

INFP

INFPs can definitely be accommodating in certain situations, but they don’t want to go completely out of their way. INFPs have a strong sense of independence and don’t want to smother people by trying to be overly helpful. INFPs are naturally good at putting people at ease though, and will do this when they are hosting guests. They do best with people they are comfortable with and will certainly want to make those people feel happy and at ease around them.

ENFP

ENFPs definitely try to make other people comfortable and will be accommodating when they can. While they will try and help others out, they won’t go above and beyond. ENFPs aren’t smothering people, and prefer to maintain a sense of independence. For ENFPs it is important to accommodate others, but not so much that it compromises their own needs or happiness. They know how to find a healthy balance, and are good at finding ways to accommodate everyone just enough.

INTJ

INTJs know how to be accommodating when it feels appropriate, but they won’t go out of their way. For INTJs it is important to remain independent, and they want this for their loved ones as well. They will accommodate people’s needs when it seems necessary, but in most cases they would rather be around people who can care for themselves. INTJs won’t just be accommodating towards people’s requests, and want to have a sense of control in their lives.

ENTJ

ENTJs can be accommodating for the people they truly love, but don’t do this for just anyone. They prefer people who can handle their own business and don’t want to constantly feel like they need to help or assist others. ENTJs are independent people and enjoy being around others who are the same way. Instead of constantly accommodating the needs and requests of everyone else, ENTJs would rather focus on tending to their own needs and allow people the space to do the same.

INTP

INTPs aren’t always the most accommodating people simply because they aren’t great at anticipating the needs of others. When they do become very close to someone they begin to develop an awareness of their needs and desires, and will become much more accommodating. INTPs care about their loved ones they just aren’t naturally good at figuring out how to take care of the needs of those around them. INTPs are more focused on precision and logic, which makes them independent people.

ENTP

ENTPs can definitely be accommodating people when it comes to the ones they love. In most cases ENTPs are very independent and would rather maintain a sense of space and control. They don’t enjoy having to accommodate others constantly, especially if it compromises their own needs and desires. ENTPs will however go above and beyond to help their loved ones feel more at ease, and are very giving people when it comes to their favorite people.

ISTJ

ISTJs are definitely accommodating people, and will go above and beyond to help people get things done. They are more accommodating in a practical manner, and not so much when it comes to emotional needs. ISTJs know how to get things done, which makes it helpful when their loved ones are in need. They are efficient and hardworking people, who really want to find ways to help their loved ones improve their lives.

ESTJ

ESTJs can definitely be accommodating people, but they do this in a more practical way. They will help their loved ones and their favorite people feel at ease. When they are around the people they care for most the ESTJ will work hard to assist them and make them feel better. They are good at getting things done, and are extremely efficient people.

ISFJ

ISFJs are extremely accommodating people who will go above and beyond to help others. They want to make their loved ones feel comfortable and will do whatever it takes to accomplish this. ISFJs will often forgo their own needs in order to make others happy. They are some of the most accommodating people, even when they maybe shouldn’t be. They simply want to make their loved ones feel appreciated and comfortable, and will do whatever they can.

ESFJ

ESFJs are extremely accommodating people, which is why they make excellent hosts and hostesses. They do whatever they can to ensure that those around them are comfortable and cared for. ESFJs will often put aside their own needs in order to make others happy, and are often self-sacrificing people. They are great at being accommodating and helpful, especially with the ones they care for most in the world.

ISTP

ISTPs can certainly be accommodating when the situation calls for it, but won’t go above and beyond the call of duty. They are focused on analysis and enjoy being more independent. If someone constantly needs them to accommodate for their needs, the ISTP will become frustrated and annoying with this. They would rather be around people who can take care of themselves and aren’t constantly asking the ISTP for assistance.

ESTP

ESTPs are surprisingly accommodating people and will do whatever they can to make their loved ones feel at ease. They will often go above and beyond to make the people close to them feel happy and comfortable. If someone the ESTP loves makes a request of them, they will actually have a hard time saying no. ESTPs do have their boundaries but in most situations they are very accommodating people.

ISFP

ISFPs can be accommodating for their favorite people, but this is usually only one or two individuals. They are independent people who prefer to follow their own hearts, and don’t want to feel forced to constantly bend to the needs of others. They reserve their accommodating and helpful qualities for their loved ones, and simply want to make those people as happy as possible.

ESFP

ESFPs can definitely be accommodating, especially towards their loved ones. For them it depends on the situation, and if they feel like it makes sense to be overly helpful. If the ESFP is hosting a party then they want to make sure everyone is comfortable and having a good time. They also have a hard time saying no to the people they truly love, and will go above and beyond to make them happy. While they can be accommodating ESFPs also know how to balance their own needs.
