Just How Untamed Your Spirit Is, Based on Your Personality Type

Some people have a naturally wild personality, one that is impossible to tame. They don’t like being caged (metaphorically speaking) and want to feel free to be themselves without any restraint. This type of person can be hard for others to understand, since they have such a vibrant and untamable personalities. Here is how untamed your spirit is, based on your personality type.

INFJ

INFJs often have counteracting qualities, but that is nothing new or surprising for people who understand them. INFJs do have a more practical and reserved part of them, which might crave the thought of settling down. While this is something they might seek out later in life, there is often a much greater part of their spirit which can never truly be tamed. INFJs are connected to their loved ones, and they care for them deeply, but they aren’t like to be restrained in a deeper sense, even if it seems this way on the outside.

ENFJ

ENFJs often have a truly untamed spirit, even if they might seem more docile on the outside. They care about others and do focus on tending to their needs, but at the same time holding them down is harder than it might seem. ENFJs want to make others happy, but part of them is also drawn to their desires and passions in life. They want to find ways to accomplish things and a big part of them is always going to experience a bit of wanderlust. ENFJs might spend time comforting others and living a more settled lifestyle, but on the inside they can possess a rather wild spirit.

INFP

INFPs do have rather wild spirits, ones that are difficult to truly tame. They are constantly searching out the things that will fulfill them and bring them a sense of purpose. They might have warm and loving hearts, but that doesn’t mean they are easy to tame. Even the INFP who is settled down and happy with their lives, will always have a somewhat untamed spirit. They want to seek out new things and want to feel excited about the world around them, and this sense of passion makes people truly difficult to restrain.

ENFP

ENFPs are some of the most untamable personalities, since they are eager to experience newness in life. They have truly passionate spirits and are always seeking out things that give them some sort of purpose. ENFPs have sincerely wild and untamed spirits, and are always curious about the world around them. They might have a hard time feeling restrained or like they are being held back from truly experiencing the things they want from the world. While ENFPs might settle down and commit to things or people, their spirits are never truly tamed.

INTJ

The only person who can tame the INTJ, is the INTJ themselves. They are disciplined and controlled people, who work hard to maintain a sense of focus. They don’t like behaving in any way that is rash and so they usually aren’t the wildest people. While they might appear tame, this is only because they are in control of themselves. INTJs are not tamed or restrained by others, and will always stand up for themselves and what they believe in.

ENTJ

ENTJs aren’t often tamed by others, instead they remain in control and capable of standing up for themselves. ENTJs are very disciplined people and sometimes this can seem like they are tamed, when it truth they simply have control of their own emotions and behaviors. ENTJs can be rather wild and intense when they are standing up for themselves or their loved ones. While the ENTJ can be committed and disciplined, that doesn’t mean they are easily tamed.

INTP

INTPs definitely have an untamed spirit, but there can be a part of them which seeks out some sort of commitment and comfort. INTPs are complex people who can sometimes struggle to truly discover what it is that they want. They believe in doing their best to dive into their thoughts and hearts in order to uncover what they desire most. INTPs can have a hard time allowing people to tame them, since this can feel much more like someone is trying to restrain or control them.

ENTP

ENTPs are not easily tamed, if they can ever truly be tamed at all. ENTPs have adventurous and eager spirits, and they desire to seek out new things. For the ENTP it can be hard to handle being restrained, they often feel very combative when this happens. Most of the time they just don’t want to feel tamed, instead they want to feel a sense of freedom. Even though they might settle down later in life, there will always be a piece of the ENTPs spirit that feels untamed.

ISTJ

ISTJs might not have the wildest spirits, since they actually enjoy commitment and stability. They aren’t focused on constantly having to jump into something new, usually they feel this is a bit foolish. For the ISTJ it is more valuable to be calm and comfortable with themselves and their lives. They might not have extremely untamed spirits, but in place of this they have strength and focus. They are capable people who are there for their loved ones and are people that others can depend on.

ESTJ

ESTJs don’t really have a desire to appear untamed, since they aren’t afraid of being a bit more controlled and reserved. They strive for a sense of stability in their lives, and to them this is often much more fulfilling. ESTJs aren’t afraid of seeming tamed, especially not if the reward seems completely worthwhile for them. They are strong-willed people who will always stand up for themselves and their loved ones, but that doesn’t mean they possess a spirit that is incapable of being stable and even tamed.

ISFJ

ISFJs don’t mind seeming a bit tame, especially when it comes to their loved ones. While they can be intense people with a bit of a wild spirit, this side of them is rarely seen by others. ISFJs aren’t afraid of being tamed though, as long as their reward is worth the cost. They care about their loved ones and want to connect with them and support them no matter what. ISFJs are rather controlled people, and so they don’t appear untamed from an outside view.

ESFJ

ESFJs are complex when it comes their desire to commit to others, but at the same time they can possess a somewhat wild spirit. ESFJs are often very focused on taking care of others, and are not afraid of settling down. At the same time they can often possess a spirit that is difficult to control or tame, even though it might appear like the opposite. ESFJs are capable of settling down but they often desire greater things and can be somewhat eager people.

ISTP

ISTPs do have a somewhat untamed spirit inside of them, since they enjoy a strong sense of freedom. They don’t like feeling restrained or controlled by anyone, not even themselves in some ways. They want to feel free to experience new things and allow themselves to dive into something in the moment. ISTPs don’t like feeling held back in any way, and so even if they appear to settle down a part of them will always remain untamed.

ESTP

ESTPs are definitely difficult people to tame or restrain, since they have a strong desire to experience new things and follow their passions. ESTPs enjoy seeking out adventure and are often very curious people. For them feeling held back or controlled is one of the worst feelings and is not something they will readily jump into. In most situations the ESTP is difficult to tame, and this might require someone who knows how to get inside of their minds and work through their desire to bounce around.

ISFP

ISFPs definitely have a wild and untamed spirit, one that is constantly searching for something new. They enjoy experiencing the world around them and truly hate feeling restrained by the expectations of others. ISFPs can sometimes appear strange or even flighty, but this comes from the fact that they are unique people who always strive to remain free from restraints. They want to experience the world without having people constantly attempt to control them.

ESFP

ESFPs are absolutely untamable spirits, with a desire to experience their passions and seek out what makes them happy. They have a hard time feeling restrained and can actually become rather defiant in these situations. Most ESFPs bounce around fairly often, but the biggest reason for this is because they do possess a rather wild and untamed heart. The ESFP wants to live their lives without restraints or feeling like someone is trying to hold them back.
