The Enneagram 152 tritype involves three different personality types according to the Enneagram theory. These are: Type 1 – The Perfectionist, Type 5 – The Investigator, and Type 2 – The Helper.

  1. Type 1 (The Perfectionist): Individuals with this type generally have a strong sense of right and wrong and aim to live according to their high ethical standards. They’re known to be rational, principled, and often perfectionistic.
  2. Type 5 (The Investigator): The Investigator type tends to be very insightful and curious. These individuals often seek to understand the world around them and are typically intense, cerebral, and perceptive.
  3. Type 2 (The Helper): As the name suggests, individuals of this type are usually warm, caring, and like to form close, interpersonal relationships. They are naturally giving, possibly to a fault, as they want to feel loved and needed.

Together, the 152 tritype can create a characteristic pattern of behavior. These individuals may show principled and perfectionist traits as per Type 1, passion for knowledge and understanding through Type 5 traits, and they are likely to be generous and supportive due to the influence of Type 2. Someone with this tritype is likely to be particularly diligent, eager to lend a helping hand, intellectually curious, and guided by strong moral principles and ethical compass.

They’re often perfectionistic, and their quest for knowledge (Type 5) can blend with their desire to help others (Type 2) in a unique way. The combination of these characteristics means that they tend to give well-thought advice, but also may have a tendency to meddle in situations where they might not be needed.

The challenges for this tritype can arise from the tension between the need for privacy (Type 5), the inclination to assist others (Type 2), and the strong need for order and moral rectitude (Type 1). They might experience internal conflict from these different drives. However, knowing their own patterns can help individuals with this tritype to manage these inherent tendencies better and to grow both personally and professionally.
