The Enneagram 639 Tritype is often termed as “The Mediator” and combines traits from types 6, 3 and 9.
Type 6 of this Tritype, The Loyalist, brings in a need for security and loyalty. These individuals cherish consistency and can be cautious or anxious, while also being incredibly faithful, responsible, and reliable.
Type 3, which is The Achiever, adds a focus on success and defines a strong drive for achievement. They strive for practicality and can be very productive. However, they may also become overly occupied with their image and the perception others have of them.
Lastly, type 9, The Peacemaker, introduces a desire for peace and unity. These individuals seek harmony and may go to great lengths to avoid conflict, which can sometimes lead to passivity.
In combination, the 639 Tritype is generally cooperative, dedicated and peace-seeking. They’re oriented towards creating harmony around them and are often appreciated for their diplomatic abilities. They posses a good balance of being ambitious because of the 3, and yet maintaining that ambition harmoniously due to the influence of the 9. But if not careful, they may come across as people-pleasers, or neglect their own needs for the sake of others.
