Here’s How Frugal You Are, According to Your Personality Type

Sure, money is a sensitive topic that apparently we aren’t supposed to discuss. Well, instead of shying away from those topics let’s dive right into them, shall we? Here is how frugal you are most likely to be, according to your personality type.

INFJs know how to be responsible when they have to be, and will be capable of saving money. At the same time if the INFJ doesn’t have too many people to be responsible for, they will enjoy spending their money from time to time. They realize they need to enjoy the present on occasion, and want to be able to buy things that they like. INFJs aren’t obsessed with materialistic things, but on occasion they enjoy having the things they like. INFJs are responsible people though, and will be very frugal when they have people who are depending on them.

ENFJs are often very frugal people, especially when they have people depending on them. They know how to be responsible, especially when they need to save their money for something important. When ENFJs have a surplus of money they do enjoy being able to spend it on gifts and things that will make their loved ones happy. ENFJs truly enjoy showering others with presents and affection, especially when they are capable of doing this. ENFJs also enjoy being able to buy themselves a few things, but will only do this if it is feasible.

INFPs rarely care much about material things, but on occasion they find items they really enjoy. INFPs aren’t always responsible when it comes to their finances, simply because they don’t want to feel controlled by it. They realize that there are certain bills that need to be paid, but at the same time they aren’t obsessing over it. INFPs are not likely to spend all of their money on something foolish though, since they rarely find themselves swept up in something materialistic.

ENFPs are not always the most frugal people, since they dislike feeling controlled by money. ENFPs want to be able to buy the things they like, without feeling like they are doing something wrong. This is often why they enjoy having a sense of independence in their lives, so that they feel free to make their own choices. ENFPs want to spend money on things they like, and aren’t always frugal when they see something they truly want. They do know how to be responsible when they have to be, and will find a way to make more money if they have overspent.

INTJs are often very frugal and responsible people, and do not believe in letting money control them. They will definitely maintain a wise and organized plan for their finances, which helps them keep it all together. INTJs have plenty of self-control and are not the type of people to go out and spend frivolously. They realize that in order to be free to spend money on items they like, they need to save money and keep things in good standing.

ENTJs are often very frugal people, and dislike spending recklessly. They want to be able to save plenty of money in order to afford the things they like. They aren’t the type of people to spend foolishly before they have enough money to do so. ENTJs believe in being responsible and doing things the most efficient and intelligent way. This applies to the way they handle their finances, which makes ENTJs rather frugal people.

INTPs are complex people, which means they can be both frugal and little reckless with their finances. They will definitely keep track of their money and how they are spending it, but have moments of wanting to be a little spontaneous. INTPs will risk their finances for a big idea sometimes, or simply because they get caught up in the moment. INTPs are intelligent people though, and will always find a way to make back whatever money they recklessly spend. They are capable of being frugal and can save plenty of money in order to achieve whatever goals they have in mind.

ENTPs are capable of being frugal, but oftentimes they don’t want to be. ENTPs do not like being held back by responsibilities or the idea of money. They want to feel free to make their own choices, and enjoy being a little reckless from time to time. ENTPs might want to spend their money on some new idea, or a big project that they are passionate about. They might take these risks with their finances but always find a way to bounce back and make things work.

ISTJs are definitely frugal people, who believe in being responsible with their finances. They are capable of spending on lavish items, but only when they know it is logically acceptable to do so. They often keep an informed record of their finances, and enjoy being aware of what they can and cannot afford. ISTJs are responsible people who believe in being efficient in everything they do. They are definitely very frugal, and believe in paying close attention to what they spend.

ESTJs are often frugal people, simply because they dislike being without money. They want to be responsible and will save their money when they can. ESTJs do not want to be seen as reckless, and will be very aware of their finances. Instead of just spending the ESTJ wants to be sure they have plenty of money in order to do what they want with it. They do like to spend their money on lavish things, but want to be sure that they can afford it before they do.

ISFJs can be very frugal people, and are good at keeping track of their finances. They do not want to be reckless, and believe in being responsible with their money. ISFJs are often good at keeping organized records of everything, which makes them good at keeping track of things in their lives. This helps the ISFJ become more aware of their financial situation, which helps them to save more effectively. ISFJs do enjoy spending their money on nice things, but they want to be sure they are doing this responsibly and not recklessly.

ESFJs are capable of being frugal, especially when they need to be responsible for their loved ones. ESFJs know how to save their money, and can often impress others with their ability to go without certain items. They know how to be responsible when they have to be, but at the same time ESFJs often enjoy being able to spend their money. They love being able to buy gifts for their loved ones, and enjoy surprising them with something new. ESFJs might be a little reckless with their money, especially during the holidays.

ISTPs are capable of being frugal if they have to be, but aren’t really excited by the idea of being held back. ISTPs want to feel free to do their own thing, especially when it comes to their own money. They enjoy being able to spend when they want to, which can make them a little reckless sometimes. They will spend money on something they want, but they are perfectly capable of making that money back if they spend a little too recklessly.

ESTPs can be a bit frivolous with their finances, even though they are responsible people. ESTPs enjoy being able to buy nice things, and will sometimes get swept up in the moment. When they go out to buy one item, the ESTP might find themselves spending a little more than expected. They enjoy being able to purchase the things they like, and don’t want to feel held back by finances. They aren’t always the most frugal people, simply because they enjoy living in the moment and getting what they want.

ISFPs aren’t the most frugal people, simply because they enjoy living in the present moment. If the ISFP sees something they want to buy, they won’t be held back in that moment. They can get a little swept up sometimes, and might overspend when they shouldn’t. ISFPs simply dislike having to follow some set of rules and want to live freely. They realize that they cannot take their money with them, so they want to enjoy it while they can.

ESFPs can actually be a little reckless with their finances, and aren’t usually frugal people. They prefer to live in the present moment, and this often ties into how they spend their money. ESFPs dislike having to hold back when they really want something, so they rarely find themselves feeling like they have to save their money. They will overspend on occasion, simply because they want to enjoy the moment and realize they cannot take that money with them in the end.
