Here’s How Pragmatic You Are, Based On Your Personality Type

While some people enjoy using their imaginations in life, others prefer to be more pragmatic. Here is how pragmatic you are, according to your personality type.

 

INFJ

INFJs are intuitive and thoughtful people, who spend a lot of time inside of their own rich inner minds. They have strong morals, and believe in doing what is right without allowing the opinions of others to hold them back. While INFJs are extremely imaginative and dreamy people, they also have a pragmatic side to their personality. INFJs are complex people, who are often capable of seeing both sides of something. While they enjoy being theoretical and imaginative, they are always capable of looking at the practical side of things in order to get something done.

ENFJ

ENFJs are compassionate people who are always striving to take care of their loved ones. This is often the main driving force for the ENFJ, which keeps them going and moving forward. They are caring and also imaginative people, which makes them very complex individuals. While the ENFJ uses their imagination and enjoys theoretical ideas, they also are capable of being pragmatic. When the ENFJ is trying to take care of their loved ones, they will sometimes look at the more practical ways of getting something done in order to ensure that it works smoothly.

INFP

INFPs are extremely imaginative people, who spend a lot of time inside of their own inner minds. They enjoy spending hours just thinking through different ideas in a way that most people would not comprehend. INFPs have vast inner minds, and even deeper souls, which makes them intriguing and curious people. While INFPs are capable of seeing the logical side of things, they can be extremely theoretical. They aren’t always the most pragmatic people, since INFPs prefer to look at the many different possibilities instead of simply viewing the most practical solution.

ENFP

ENFPs are interestingly complex people, with imaginative and introspective minds. They are very intrigued by possibilities, and love being able to think through different ideas. ENFPs are intuitive people, who dislike being stuck in one place for too long. While ENFPs are capable of being practical, they often prefer considering the different theoretical possibilities. They often know the best solution in many situations, but ENFPs minds are not the pragmatic places. This is what makes them so complex, since they are capable of swaying in both directions.

 

INTJ

INTJs are logical people, but they can be pragmatic from time to time. They enjoy looking at different theories, but at the same time they are realistic people. INTJs are excellent at absorbing knowledge, and will strive to understand as much as they can about the world around them. INTJs are practical people when it comes to most things in life, and prefer to do things in an efficient manner. They are complex individuals though, which can make them pragmatic and theoretical all the same time. This is part of what makes INTJs so interesting, since they can be rather hard to peg down.

ENTJ

ENTJs are very pragmatic people, since they prefer to be efficient and focus on proven methods. Instead of obsessing over things they cannot change, the ENTJ wants to find solutions to their problems. They would much rather look at something through a realistic lens, and want to understand their situation fully. ENTJs are intelligent and hardworking people, who will push through whatever problem that arises. They are definitely pragmatic people, since they strive to be effective and realistic.

INTP

INTPs aren’t the most pragmatic people, and prefer to focus on theoretical ideas. They don’t enjoy getting stuck on one possibilities, simply because it has worked in the past. INTPs are always exploring new possibilities, and have extremely imaginative inner minds. This is what helps the INTP discover new solutions, and helps them explore ideas that others haven’t quite grasped yet. Their imaginative and explorative minds are incredibly effective when it comes to absorbing information. INTPs might not be the most pragmatic people, but they are logical and inventive.

ENTP

ENTPs are not always the most pragmatic people, since they prefer to look at the many possibilities around them. Instead of looking at things that are realistic and proven, ENTPs want to explore completely new terrain. They enjoy exploring the possibilities, and will dive headfirst into something new before they will remain stuck in the past. ENTPs are always challenging themselves and pushing the boundaries of what might make sense to others. They are logical and curious people, with incredibly active inner minds.

 

ISTJ

ISTJs are very pragmatic people, who simply prefer focusing on the most practical solution. They are natural problem solvers, which helps them become successful in life. ISTJs dislike focusing on too many theoretical ideas and would much rather look to proven methods to get things done. Instead of looking at the many different possibilities and obsessing over those, the ISTJ is likely to be very practical and realistic. Their pragmatic personalities can really help the ISTJ motivate themselves and move forward in life.

ESTJ

ESTJs are hardworking and very pragmatic people, who value efficiency above anything else. They believe in looking at proven methods in order to get things done, and dislike obsessing over possibilities. ESTJs don’t enjoy looking at theoretical ideas most of the time, since they can really only deter them from being as efficient as possible. ESTJs prefer to be practical, and will look at the most realistic and effective method.

ISFJ

ISFJs are actually pragmatic people, who prefer to do things in a more realistic way. They aren’t the type of people to imagine the different possibilities, and dislike obsessing over small things. ISFJs want to be realistic in order to effectively take care of their loved ones. They certainly value compassion and warmth above everything else, and want to do what they can to make sure everyone is happy. While ISFJs care about being loving companions, they are still practical and realistic people.

ESFJ

ESFJs definitely value being realistic over being too theoretical. They are compassionate people who strive to care deeply for their loved ones. While ESFJs are capable of being pragmatic people, they favor making their loved ones happy first. ESFJs would prefer to ensure that the people they love are emotionally cared for, but they also want to care for their practical needs. ESFJs are somewhat pragmatic people, and are capable of looking at the more realistic side of things.

 

ISTP

ISTPs are introspective people, who enjoy thinking about different information and theories. They do enjoy exploring new ideas, but at the same time they are very realistic people. They can be somewhat pragmatic when it comes to information, and prefer to look at things that they can understand fully. ISTPs are natural problem solvers, and are excellent at solving issues that other people would likely struggle with for a long time.

ESTP

ESTPs can be rather pragmatic people, since they enjoy looking at the facts that are in front of them. They want to focus on things that can be proven, which is why too many theoretical ideas aren’t all that intriguing to them. ESTPs do have analytical and logical minds, but they are also oddly realistic. They enjoy facts and concrete evidence in order to figure things out and properly understand the information at hand.

ISFP

ISFPs are whimsical and imaginative people, which makes them a bit less pragmatic. They don’t care to focus on things that are too realistic, since it can bring them down sometimes. ISFPs have open minds and warm hearts, and truly enjoy exploring. They have adventurous and curious spirits, which keeps the ISFP constantly curious about the world around them. They dislike being too realistic, since it really just weighs the ISFP down.

ESFP

ESFPs are not the most pragmatic people, and prefer to focus on things that excite them. They want to live their lives in the present moment, and dislike feeling held back by practicality. ESFPs enjoy using their imagination to explore the many different possibilities in the world around them. They are adventurous and curious people, who dislike feeling stagnant. ESFPs won’t let practicality hold them back in life, and much prefer things that are fun and enjoyable.
