Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the ENFP Mother
While ENFPs are seen as sometimes eccentric and scattered people, there are aspects of their personality which make them capable of being amazing mothers. They endure their own unique struggles and challenges as a mother, as well as their own unique experiences that make it a wonderful life choice for them. Here is everything you need to know about the ENFP mother.
The Inspirational Mother
ENFP mothers do whatever they can to support and love their children, and will always be their biggest fans. They want to inspire their children to reach their full potential, but they certainly won’t try and force them to follow any specific path. The ENFP wants to help their children grow and learn who they truly are on a very personal level. They want to do everything they can to help their child soar, and give them a sense of passion for life. ENFPs approach everything with a sense of wonder and curiosity, and they bring this into their parenting style. The ENFP mother is both nurturing and challenging in the way she helps her children always strive for more. They enjoy exploring different possibilities, and will bring their children along for the ride.
The ENFP mother doesn’t punish their children’s mistakes, instead she uses it as a teaching opportunity. They understand that children need to explore in order to learn, and so the ENFP mother wants to simply help them learn as much as they can. When things are difficult for their children the ENFP mother shows them how to overcome these struggles and approach their future with an open mind.
The childlike side of the ENFP mother helps her to connect with her children and make their lives fun. Instead of treating their child like they aren’t as valuable as adults, the ENFP mother wants to show them how untrue this really is. She won’t be afraid of getting down in the dirt with her child, and often enjoys playing games with them. The ENFP mother is more than capable of being silly with their children, in order to spark their creativity and help them feel more connected to one another. ENFPs don’t feel as though their children deserve to be sheltered, instead they want to be open and honest with them. This often helps create an open line of communication, which helps the ENFPs children be upfront with their parents when they are in need.
The Single ENFP Mother
The single ENFP mother faces her own unique struggles which can be a bit overwhelming at times. ENFPs aren’t always the most focused or organized people, which is difficult as a single mother. They might not be on time for some things, and might even struggle to get their children places on time. The ENFP mother will definitely do her absolute best to keep everything maintained for her children. While they will try their hardest to be more organized, this is something that does not come naturally for them. They don’t want their children to miss out on anything, but they simply don’t find it easy to keep up with certain day-to-day chores. The single ENFP mother will work hard to find ways to supplement the things their children are missing, and will work to stand in for the things they may not have from a paternal relationship. They aren’t afraid to play that role, and will jump in where they can to make sure their children are open to all opportunities.
The Toxic ENFP Mother
The toxic ENFP mother is nothing like the healthy version of the ENFP mom, and simply does not possess that loving and supportive nature of the ENFP. The unhealthy ENFP mother is manipulative and completely scattered. There are times when she will completely neglect the needs of her child, in order to ensure her own happiness. They often use their children as a way to get what they want, and will manipulate in order to guilt their child into helping them. The toxic ENFP mother can be rather damaging to their children, using gaslight techniques to keep them unaware of what is happening.
The Struggles of the ENFP Mother
The ENFPs mother can struggle with feeling unlike many of the other mothers, never completely fitting in. This can be difficult for them at times, especially if they start to compare themselves to other mothers. They don’t want to feel like they aren’t completely living up to certain standards, but things only become worse if they attempt to change themselves. The ENFP mother wants to make their children happy and do what they can to support them in every way possible.
The ENFP mother often struggles with being organized and keeping up with the day-to-day mothering struggles. They aren’t great at keeping up with a strict schedule and can often feel trapped when they have to do this. ENFPs enjoy some sort of freedom in their lives and want to be able to explore new possibilities. When they have to adhere to a schedule, it makes it hard for them to feel this sense of exploration in their lives. This is something the ENFP might feel guilty for as well, since they don’t want to disappoint their children.
