ESTJ Personality
The ESTJ Personality is all about creating order. The ESTJ wants to organize the people around them and create a strong hold on the community around them. They believe in tradition and doing the right thing, which is a standard that they hold to other people around them. The ESTJ can be a community organizer that is great at bringing people together. They are very verbal and well organized which allows them to make and talk through plans. They also have an entertaining silly side which allows them to break the ice and keep things light. The ESTJ believes in hard work and the rule of law, which they try to uphold and execute. The ESTJ is very principled and will usually find a way to implement their plans. They may come off a bit harsh and angry at others that do not hold themselves to the same values as the ESTJ. If they perceive someone as lazy or dishonest, they can adopt a very biting and sarcastic tone in their interactions. A more mature ESTJ may realize that not everything thinks or is capable of handling themselves in the same was as the ESTJ, and will find ways to allow others to play to their strengths, which will in turn produce better outcomes over time.
Enneagram Type 2 (2w1 2w3)
The Enneagram Type 2 is all about being a helper. The Enneagram Type Two wants to be needed and is great at fulfilling a role that makes them of service to the people around them. They can be driven to help others in order to be close to people. They may struggle a bit with possessiveness, but ideally they are seen as having unconditional love for others. The 2 is good at being an ideal parent. They are able to understand, listen, and encourage others to reach their full potential. They are compassionate and look for ways to help others grow. They do need to watch out for becoming too prideful and too involved in the lives of others. Autonomy is key. They need to learn how to give without expectations, and have healthy boundaries with the ones they are trying to help. The 2 has a drive where they feel they need to put others first and ahead of themselves. However, this can cause resentment and bitterness. When they are at their best, they are supportive and emotionally understanding of others, and can be just the nurturing voice that someone may need in their life. Being fully present during their acts of service can be highly rewarding for the Enneagram 2.
