INTP Personality
The INTP Personality is all about developing understanding. The INTP wants to make sense of the world around them and will form an internal map to better understand the world. This can allow them to navigate the world more effectively. The INTP is an experimental type, and functions best when they get out of their head and try new things. This can lead them to expressing themselves better as well as coming up with a completely new perspective they might have missed. The INTP can get in a rut of being in their mind and also sticking to what they know. This can cause them to become too uptight as they aren’t interacting as much with the world around them. An INTP that thinks they have it all figured out can become too rigid and stubborn to enjoy and play with the world around them. This can cause the INTP to become stagnant. The INTP needs to embrace their fun and playful side that allows them to interact with others and develop deeper insight. The INTP works best when they can share their unique skills with the world in a useful and inspiring way. The INTP can be very charming and charismatic once they learn how to express themselves fully.
Enneagram Type 2 (2w1 2w3)
The Enneagram Type 2 is all about being a helper. The Enneagram Type Two wants to be needed and is great at fulfilling a role that makes them of service to the people around them. They can be driven to help others in order to be close to people. They may struggle a bit with possessiveness, but ideally they are seen as having unconditional love for others. The 2 is good at being an ideal parent. They are able to understand, listen, and encourage others to reach their full potential. They are compassionate and look for ways to help others grow. They do need to watch out for becoming too prideful and too involved in the lives of others. Autonomy is key. They need to learn how to give without expectations, and have healthy boundaries with the ones they are trying to help. The 2 has a drive where they feel they need to put others first and ahead of themselves. However, this can cause resentment and bitterness. When they are at their best, they are supportive and emotionally understanding of others, and can be just the nurturing voice that someone may need in their life. Being fully present during their acts of service can be highly rewarding for the Enneagram 2.
