The INTJ Personality is all about applying insight. The INTJ wants to make sense of the world around them, and use this information to improve their world. They want things to make sense and they are attracted to learning anything that gives them a stronger model of the world around them. The INTJ can understand the building blocks of society and use them to navigate the world in a way that puts them in an advantageous position. They are industrious and like to see if their strategies will work for them. They can have a strong internal vision and work hard to make it a reality. If they are faced with setbacks, they can use it as an opportunity to refine their vision and take a new approach if necessary. The INTJ can ignore tradition and norms in order to get their work done. They may seem to be a bit non-conformist and slightly rebellious to others, but they simply believe that their way works best, and will likely prove itself in the process. They can sometimes be a bit in their own head and have an idealistic view of the world. Their vision and morals can make them a bit stubborn and standoffish. However, they are at their best when they are challenging themselves and their inner mind to complete goals externally. They need to process their emotions and learn when they are making decisions from a place of hurt. However, when they are creating and in line with their own inner morals, they can make great things happen.

The Enneagram Type 8 is all about being assertive. The Enneagram Type Eight wants to enjoy the world and understand how to become the best they can be in order to provide for themselves and others. They could come across as a bit too domineering to some, but they will likely learn how to balance this trait. They prefer to be in control of their environment, and will work hard to make that a reality. Some people may be resistant to their ways, but the 8 usually has a way to manage themselves and get results. The 8 is driven to make an impact and be important in their world. If they Enneagram 8 does not feel in control, it is a very unpleasant experience for them. They can become a bit fearful and afraid of what happens to them when they aren’t the ones steering the ship, so to speak. When they develop their strengths and trust the world more, they can see themselves becoming much more caring and share their resources with others around them. They are driven to be independent and want to make their own way in the world. However, they need to be able to manage when this is not possible. They are sometimes scared of vulnerability, but over time, they will understand that being open and expressive of their emotions leads to a much more rich and fulfilling life.
