Do You Have a Knack for Molding Situations, Based on Your Personality Type

Some people have a way of molding or altering a situation into something they want, while others prefer to just go with the flow. Here is how much you have a skill for molding situations, based on your personality type.

INFJ

INFJs are often capable of molding situations when people are involved, especially if they actively try to do this. They are often good at manipulating a situation because of their understanding of the emotions of others. When the INFJ tries to read someone and understand their motives, this makes it easier for them to coax that person in a certain direction. They can be truly good at molding a situation since they have a strong sense of the future and a connection to the people around them.

ENFJ

ENFJs are often very skilled at molding situations to their will, and this is something they might actively try to do. ENFJs care about getting things done and ensuring that their loved ones are properly cared for. Sometimes this means taking action instead of just allowing things to happen to them. ENFJs are not really the go with the flow types, and so they prefer to work hard in order to ensure that things go their way. When it comes to their loved ones they might try to coerce them so that they can help them create a better future for themselves and those around them.

INFP

INFPs aren’t usually interested in molding situations to their will, instead they want to let life happen as it is meant to. For them trying to manipulative people and situations in order to get what they want, feels completely insincere. INFPs would rather go with the flow, and want to allow things to happen how they are meant to. There are times when they lack motivation as well, since they can become so caught up in their own thoughts. INFPs aren’t usually the type of people who seek to mold a situation the way they want, instead they just do their best to focus on the things that matter most to them.

ENFP

ENFPs are often more capable of coercing people and making a situation go how they want, but they don’t always feel the desire to do this. Most of the time ENFPs do prefer to go with the flow of things, instead of trying to constantly adjust or mold a situation. For ENFPs this can actually feel a bit draining, since they would rather feel free to experience life on their own terms. When they want something bad enough, they might seek to mold a situation to their own will.

INTJ

INTJs do sometimes work to mold situations, but this often comes from research and understanding in a more logical sense. They don’t necessarily like having to deal with people in order to mold a situation, but they will do so if they need to. INTJs don’t enjoy allowing things to just happen and so sometimes they do need to work in order to change the course of things. For them molding a situation is simply necessary if things aren’t going as planned, and so they do their best to adjust.

ENTJ

ENTJs definitely have a knack for molding situations to their will, and this is something they seek to do often. They don’t enjoy just accepting things the way they are and instead want to find a way to make their lives the way they want. ENTJs don’t believe in simply allowing things to happen to them, instead they work hard to mold their surroundings into what they desire. For the ENTJ it is more about observing and learning as much as they can in order to really mold their surroundings.

INTP

INTPs can sometimes have more of a go with the flow personality, and so sometimes having to mold situations can seem a bit tiresome. They would rather observe and do their best to learn from what happens, so that they can understand things better in the future. INTPs might have times when they do try to mold a situation, but this occurs after they have spent time and energy learning what the best possible course of action would be.

ENTP

ENTPs are interesting people who can sometimes approach things in unique and unexpected ways. There are times when they simply want to go with the flow and allow life to come at them however it may. In those times the ENTP is looking to observe and understand the situation, so that they can better adapt in the future. Sometimes they are just diving into a situation in order to really learn from it, and so they don’t always actively seek out ways to mold their surroundings. There are other times when the ENTP intentionally tries to adjust things in order to see how much they can affect it.

ISTJ

ISTJs do sometimes work to mold situations, but only when it is in their own lives. They don’t constantly feel the need to control or adjust the lives of others, instead they just try to affect what is important to them. ISTJs want to do their best to accomplish their goals and take care of their loved ones, and so they don’t just sit back and allow things to happen. For the ISTJ it isn’t about coercing or manipulating, it is about putting in the work in order to make things happen.

ESTJ

ESTJs are hardworking and focused people and so sometimes they do strive to mold their situations. For them it isn’t about manipulating, it is about working as hard as they can to ensure that things will work out how they want. ESTJs don’t like simply allowing things to happen, instead they want to do their best to actively change their futures. For the ESTJ it is about pushing themselves to make sure things get down and their goals are properly accomplished.

ISFJ

ISFJs care about ensuring the happiness of their loved ones, and so sometimes this means having to mold their surroundings to their will. ISFJs don’t like just allowing things to happen and so sometimes they do try to mold or change things how they want. They simply do whatever they can to make others happy and live up to their expectations. Sometimes this means they need to work to manipulative or mold a situation the way they see fit.

ESFJ

ESFJs do have a knack for molding situations, especially when it comes to making their loved ones happy. If they need to get something done in order to take care of others they will do whatever it takes in order to make it happen. ESFJs care about their loved ones and they don’t want to fail them. Because of this desire to make others happy the ESFJ will work hard to mold a situation in order to take care of their well-being.

ISTP

ISTPs live their lives in the present and don’t like getting caught up on adjusting or changing things to their will. For them it is better to just allow things to happen and do their best to learn from this. For ISTPs it can sometimes be valuable to mold a situation, and they might not be bad at doing this. Most of the time they prefer to live in the moment and let things happen, instead of trying to control everything around them.

ESTP

ESTPs live their lives in the present and don’t like getting hung up trying to control everything. They will sometimes be capable of manipulating others in order to get what they want, but that doesn’t mean they are great at molding entire situations to their will. ESTPs can become drained by having to do this, since they prefer to live in the moment and soak up their surroundings.

ISFP

ISFPs live very much in the present moment and enjoy soaking up their surroundings. They don’t like constantly having to focus on adjusting their surroundings or trying to control things. ISFPs would rather allow life to happen the way it was meant to, and just enjoy adapting to whatever comes their way. Having to mold situations to fit their will is draining and often feels unnecessary.

ESFP

ESFPs live very much in the present moment and don’t usually want to find ways to mold a situation to their will. They would rather enjoy their surroundings and just let things happen how they are meant to. There might be times when the ESFP truly wants something and so they will do whatever it takes to mold or change the situation to fit their desires. Most of the time they just prefer to enjoy the present moment and soak up the joy in their lives.
