The Things That Make You Worry, Based on Your Personality Type

Some people are naturally worriers, but we all have different things which can send us into an anxiety tailspin. For those of us who have a tendency to worry a bit too often, there are usually things which cause us this time of constant concern. Here is what likely makes you worry the most, based on your personality type.

INFJ

INFJs are definitely worriers, and have a tendency to overthink most things. They find themselves feeling anxious sometimes, simply because their minds are thinking about so many things which leave them feeling uneasy. They often worry about their loved ones, and how they can best take care of and please them. INFJs worry if they are making the right choices, and if those choices are going to negatively affect those around them. They struggle to really calm themselves about these worries, since they find these things deeply important.

ENFJ

ENFJs are definitely warriors, finding themselves constantly thinking about everything and everyone around them. ENFJs find themselves worrying about their loved ones, and often wanting to make sure they are taken care of. They think about the well-being of others and this is something which does cause them a lot of worry. ENFJs also worry if they are doing things right or if they are making too many mistakes. They are perfectionists and they put a lot of pressure on their own shoulders to ensure that everyone around them is taken care of and happy.

INFP

INFPs definitely worry about many different things, mostly because they have so many different thoughts inside of their minds. INFPs find themselves worrying if they are making the right choices, and whether or not they are making too many mistakes. They also worry about the state of the world more than most people realize, finding themselves concerned for humanity as a whole. INFPs want to feel like they are making a difference in the world, and often worry if they are good people who are living up to their own inner morals.

ENFP

ENFPs care about their loved ones, and often worry about them more than most people realize. ENFPs might not express this worry openly, but they do think about whether or not they are supportive or helpful enough. ENFPs also worry if they are heading in the right direction, wanting to be sure they are becoming the person they want to be. They find themselves worrying if their loved ones truly care, or if they are going to abandon them someday. While these are often the things ENFPs worry about, they try not to let these worries overtake them, or prevent them from enjoying their lives.

INTJ

INTJs try not to let their worry overtake them, and often respond to it by trying to solve whatever problems might arise. While they might not appear to worry, they do have a tendency to overthink things in a way that can cause them to feel a bit restless. They are perfectionists, and this is often what causes them to worry about things. They find themselves a bit stressed over whether or not they can accomplish their goals as efficiently as they hope, or if certain struggles will arise which could hold them back. INTJs work hard to get things done and so sometimes they find themselves worrying about their own knowledge and if they are ignorant in things they should be aware of.

ENTJ

ENTJs definitely can be worriers, mostly because they are perfectionists who put a lot onto their own shoulders. ENTJs want to be sure they are getting things done efficiently, but they can sometimes take on so much that it becomes a lot of pressure. This can cause the ENTJ to worry if they are doing a good job, or if they will be able to handle any future problems which might arise. They put so much on themselves and because of this they worry if they are going to be able to accomplish all of their goals efficiently.

INTP

INTPs definitely worry more than people realize, since they keep their emotions to themselves most of the time. They have so much going on inside of their inner minds, and so they find themselves worrying about things often. INTPs will analyze and analyze a situation, until it becomes a cause for concern. This can be something which helps them discover ways to problem solve, but can also create a bit of stress for the INTP, and causes them to worry about pretty much anything and everything.

ENTP

ENTPs do have a tendency to worry about the things they overanalyze, but they try not to let this overwhelm them. They worry more about the future than they do the present, finding themselves worrying if they are heading in the right direction. ENTPs also possess a great fear of missing out, which is something that can cause them to worry if they are following the path which will be the most rewarding. These things definitely worry the ESFJ on a constant basis, and leave them feeling a bit more stressed than people might realize.

ISTP

ISTPs try not to let worry overtake them or hold them back from living in the present. They don’t worry about the future, as much as they worry about whatever current mess they might be in. If they have gotten themselves into trouble they do sometimes worry about the aftermath, but they do their best to get through this.
