Here’s How Good You Are at Deconstructing Information, Based on Your Personality Type

Some people have a knack for deconstructing information and analyzing it until they uncover the truth. They know how to get to the heart of the matter and push aside of the false information and fluff. Here is how good you are at deconstructing things, based on your personality type.

INFJ

INFJs are often good at deconstructing things, but they tend to base things on their intuition more than their ability to deconstruct. They could take apart information and spend hours analyzing, and in some cases they do. INFJs simply do better when they rely on their intuition to take care of the information for them. Ultimately, INFJs do have times where they will analyze things, especially when they are having doubts about a person or situation. They are good at looking at things at observing the information in a way that helps them uncover the truth of the matter.

ENFJ

ENFJs do have times where they go into an analytical mode, but they are often more intuitive people. They focus on the information they have gathered and apply it in their lives in a useful manner. ENFJs also focus on others and can sense their emotions and behaviors in a powerful manner. While they are capable of deconstructing, ENFJs usually don’t spend energy doing it as much as some other types. The only times the ENFJ really spends a lot of time in deconstructing mode, is when they are under extreme stress and struggle to trust their intuition.

INFP

INFPs can certainly enjoy deconstructing things from time to time, but their way of analyzing is often a bit different. For the INFP it is more about following a gut feeling, or by approaching things by looking at the different patterns. Instead of deconstructing and breaking down information, they find themselves building it up. They catalog pieces of information and run it altogether in order to figure out what the most reasonable conclusion actually is. INFPs also focus a lot more on their inner emotions and what feels right to them, so even though they do overthink and analyze things it is more processed through their emotions.

ENFP

ENFPs enjoy analyzing information, but it is processed in a different way than true deconstruction. They are more likely to observe the patterns and how all of this information can branch out to make the most reasonable path ahead of them. They also process information that they gather through their internal emotions and values, which leads to analyzing but in a much more personal manner. ENFPs can deconstruct information but they often don’t prefer to do it in this way, instead they want to build up with facts and find the patterns in front of them.

INTJ

INTJs are highly analytical people, who believe in observing and graining as much knowledge as possible. They do sometimes prefer to deconstruct information, especially if it seems like the most logical approach to figuring out the truth. INTJs can spend hours taking in all of the information and comparing it against other facts they have discovered. They want to make sure the information is sincere, but they also use their sense of intuition in order to filter these supposed facts. INTJs are analytical minds, but at the same time they only value deconstructing information when it seems like the necessary action, and in other cases it appear a bit fruitless to them.

ENTJ

ENTJs do have the ability to deconstruct information when it is needed, but in most situations they do prefer to use their intuition abilities to uncover the truth. They have a strong awareness of information which is processed subconsciously and filtered through their thinking abilities as well. This helps the ENTJ come to conclusions about which pieces of information are clearly untrue, while others times they can instantly recognize the validity to something. When the ENTJ sees that sometimes requires digging, they are more than capable of taking that step to uncover what lies underneath.

INTP

INTPs are often amazing at deconstructing information, even the pieces that don’t appear to require this effort. They are highly analytical people who will not simply take information at face value. They often want to take it apart and uncover what truly lies beneath the surface, wanting to figure out the pieces that others have not discovered. This is part of what makes INTPs such revolutionary thinkers, since they have a knack for deconstructing and analyzing information that appears to be so straightforward already.

ENTP

ENTPs are highly analytical people, who possess excellent deconstructive abilities. They enjoy taking information apart and looking for different patterns within each piece. They don’t simply want to take things at face value, instead the ENTP wants to uncover the things that might be hidden underneath. ENTPs enjoy analyzing and love spending times approaching things from many different angles. They certainly enjoy deconstructing the information they gather, and will spend hours just going over different possible scenarios inside of their minds.

ISTJ

ISTJs are more interested in observed and proven methods, rather than deconstructing information. If something doesn’t seem right then they will certainly analyze and try to uncover the truth. For ISTJs it is more based on logic than deconstruction, and so they don’t really want to waste their time doing this. They especially won’t spend time deconstructing information that has already been proven to be accurate, since they just seems pointless to them.

ESTJ

ESTJs aren’t often fans of having to deconstruct information, since they prefer to focus on things that have been proven to be true. They want to ensure that they are enlisting proven methods and sincere facts. ESTJs work hard to get things done and so they dislike anything that wastes time or is not completely efficient. For them having to deconstruct information to figure out its accuracy, can be a bit tedious and might feel like their time could be better spent elsewhere.

ISFJ

ISFJs don’t usually like spending too much time and energy deconstructing information. While they are often capable of this, it can feel a bit tedious to them. They prefer to focus on things that have been proven effective, so that they can get things done to the best of their abilities. Sometimes deconstructing can be draining for them, since ISFJs often have so many other things on their minds. They have a lot to take care of, and people who depend on them for so much.

ESFJ

ESFJs don’t often enjoy spending too much time deconstructing information, since it can be a bit draining after a while. They might spend some time overthinking things, but this is done because they are trying to understand their loved ones. When the ESFJ does spend a lot of time analyzing and deconstructing information, it is often because they are under extreme stress and are no longer relying on their strengths to figure things out and make decisions.

ISTP

ISTPs are highly analytical people, who actually enjoy deconstructing information. They also enjoy taking things apart in a physical sense, and like being able to see how they truly work on the inside. ISTPs are most rewarded when they can spend time and energy diving into something and taking apart the pieces. They enjoy analyzing and looking at things from different angles, especially when they get to deconstruct the information to figure out what actually lies underneath the surface.

ESTP

ESTPs do enjoy deconstructing information in order to uncover the things hidden beneath. They spend a lot of time analyzing and absorbing as much as they can. ESTPs do focus on deconstructing sometimes, while other times they can find themselves focusing on what they observe in the present moment. ESTPs do take in a lot of information and do their best to analyze how they can, but sometimes they can get caught up in the trends and what other people see.

ISFP

ISFPs don’t usually like having to deconstruct things, since this can feel a bit tedious for them. They enjoy living in the moment and love to absorb the things they find beautiful. For the ISFP it is more useful to follow what feels right, than to overanalyze information and try to take it apart. Deconstructing things too much can actually be stressful, since they are more in touch with their inner emotions than their analytical skills.

ESFP

ESFPs aren’t really fans of deconstructing information, instead they refer to observe things as they see them. ESFPs focus on the present moment and strive to seek out the things that bring them joy. They follow their hearts a bit more than their minds, which leads the ESFP to becoming a bit drained by too much analytical thinking. Having to deconstruct things and analyze the root of what is happening, can feel like a tedious act for them.
