Some people find it hard to turn others down, and are always trying to make people happy. People pleasers will go above and beyond in order to ensure that others are impressed with them. Here is how much of a people pleaser you are, based on your personality type.

INFJ

INFJs do have a strong people pleaser mentality, and simply want to make their loved ones happy. INFJs go above and beyond to ensure that the people close to them are cared for. They hate feeling like they have disappointed others, and work hard to avoid this. INFJs can sometimes neglect their own needs in order to make sure someone they love is taken care of. This can cause the INFJ to become overwhelmed though, since they need to feel appreciated for their actions. If it goes on too long with them feeling like a doormat, the INFJ will eventually reassess and might need to redirect their affection to someone who does appreciate them.

ENFJ

ENFJs are definitely people pleasers, with a strong desire to make others happy. The main goal of the ENFJ is to take care of others and they are always working hard to accomplish this. They want to be sure that their loved ones are happy, no matter what they have to do in order to make this happen. ENFJs hate disappointing people, and have a hard time saying “no” because of this. ESTJs certainly want to impress their loved ones, and work hard to ensure that their needs are met. While ESTJs can have some people pleaser tendencies, they are more than capable of saying “no”. If the ESTJ feels like they are being taken advantage of, they will take command of a situation. They won’t compromise their own needs just to ensure that someone else gets what they want. ESFPs can definitely be people pleasers, especially with the individuals they want to impress most. ESFPs have a hard time saying “no” to people who they care deeply for. They often have a squeaky wheel mentality, and will tend to the ones who complain the most. ESFPs are people pleasers, and enjoy impressing others as much as they can. While they might not tend to the practical needs of those around them, the ESFP will work hard to make other people smile and keep them entertained.
