Here’s How Careful You Are, According to Your Personality Type

Some people can be a bit reckless, while others prefer to be careful in their lives. Here is how careful you are, according to your personality type.

INFJ

INFJs are very internal people, who don’t like to take unnecessary risks. They can be careful with certain things in life, especially when it comes to their loved ones. They don’t want to do anything that might harm someone they love, which makes the INFJ a bit more careful with their choices. While some people are reckless, the INFJ wants to consider their actions beforehand. They do have moments when they are under stress, where that careful personality goes completely out the window. The INFJ will be a bit more reckless, and will enjoy exploring their adventurous side.

ENFJ

ENFJs are hardworking and focused people, but they do have careful tendencies. When they recognize that their actions could harm someone else, the ENFJ wants to be sure to make the right decision. They don’t want to be seen as reckless, and enjoy being able to make responsible choices in their lives. ENFJs do go through certain stages in their lives where under great stress they can lose that careful attitude. They become so overwhelmed that they seek out momentary relief, and will be a bit more reckless with their decisions.

INFP

INFPs are not really careful people, and prefer to dive into their imagination. They have such rich inner minds and spend a lot of their time inside their own thoughts. This can make INFPs appear more careful, since they live more inside of their minds than they do in the world around them. They actually aren’t afraid of taking chances in life, and do have a spontaneous streak. INFPs simply want their lives to be filled with newness and possibilities, and dislike feeling stuck in the same place.

ENFP

ENFPs are not really seen as careful people, because they enjoy being able to explore new things. They have an adventurous streak, and truly want to experience life to the fullest. They are passionate people, and would rather be a little reckless than overly careful. ENFPs are not afraid of being spontaneous, and strive to experience the possibilities in front of them. They have such active inner minds, and rich imaginations which makes them thrive with anything new and exciting.

INTJ

INTJs are actually somewhat careful people, especially when it comes to important choices. They don’t like taking unnecessary risks, and enjoy having a sense of structure in their lives. INTJs would much rather look into and research something before they make reckless choices. Being reckless is actually somewhat annoying to INTJs, and they will look at people who behave that way as completely foolish. They take their lives seriously and believe in upholding their responsibilities. INTJs do have moments under extreme stress where they might have a personality flip, and become a bit reckless and less careful than usual.

ENTJ

ENTJs aren’t really careful people, because they enjoy taking steps to advance in their lives. Being too careful causes the ENTJ to avoid moving forward towards a better future. They aren’t afraid to take risks, especially when their intuition tells them that they will pay off in the end. ENTJs are intelligent and eager people, who are willing to work hard in order to accomplish their goals. They are motivated and driven, but that doesn’t mean they are overly careful.

INTP

INTPs do have careful moments in their lives, because they are capable of seeing the potential negative outcomes. They are analytical and intelligent individuals, who are constantly researching and learning information. This ability to analyze and also use their intuition, makes them a bit wearier of the future and what will happen when they take certain action. They do enjoy being able to take chances though, and will have moments where their curiosity gets the better of them.

ENTP

ENTPs are not careful people, since they enjoy being able to experience new things. ENTPs aren’t afraid of risks in their lives, because it means they have a chance to learn something. They are always ready to try a new challenge, and don’t want to be too careful in their lives. Being careful is only a way to hold them back, which is why ENTPs can be seen as a bit reckless sometimes. They are capable of getting themselves out of trouble though, which is helpful since they really aren’t very careful.

ISTJ

ISTJs are hardworking people who are very focused on upholding their responsibilities. They don’t enjoy falling behind or taking unnecessary risks in their lives. ISTJs are definitely careful people, but they also aren’t afraid of pushing forward when they are sure of something. They will do what they know is right and have very strong inner morals. ISTJs definitely are careful people and dislike reckless or irresponsible behavior around them.

ESTJ

ESTJs are hardworking and driven people, but they are also somewhat careful. They do not want to be seen as irresponsible and not being careful can lead to making major mistakes. ESTJs dislike recklessness in their lives and truly believe in being responsible and standing by their word. They are often careful where it matters, but know how to make the next move when they are sure of their actions. Being careful does not make ESTJs hesitant people, and know how to motivate themselves.

ISFJ

ISFJs are definitely careful people, especially since they are responsible and reserved. They do not want to take unnecessary risks, and value their loved ones deeply. If they are reckless in their lived it means they can often do something that hurts someone else. ISFJs are careful in their choices and want to be sure that their actions are the right ones to take.

ESFJ

ESFJs can be somewhat careful, since they are sometimes indecisive people. They don’t want their actions to accidentally harm someone they love, which makes them a bit more careful than others. ESFJs are also motivated people though, and aren’t afraid to take risks when they believe it is worth it. They just don’t want to do anything that can negatively affect someone else. ESFJs are careful when it matters, since they are responsible people.

ISTP

ISTPs are definitely not careful people and prefer to take risks in their lives. They enjoy adventure and are not afraid to dive into something new. ISTPs dislike being careful, and will relate that to being afraid of taking action. ISTPs can actually be a bit reckless sometimes, simply because they want to enjoy their lives and live actively in the present moment.

ESTP

ESTPs are actually somewhat reckless people, which makes them much less careful. ESTPs enjoy living in the present moment and are not afraid to take a few risks. They are always seeking out new adventures and live each day with a sense of passion. ESTPs dislike being held back and don’t want to be overly careful when it comes to making decisions. They are actually rather spontaneous people, who can make decisions in the moment without thinking about it too much.

ISFP

ISFPs enjoy living in the moment, and dislike being overly careful. They follow their heart, without being afraid of what might happen. ISFPs are free-spirits which means they don’t want to feel held back by fear or negativity. They will be willing to jump into something new, especially if they are passionate about it. ISFPs are not overly reckless people, but they certainly are not afraid to take risks when their heart leads them down a path.

ESFP

They are fun-loving people, who dislike focusing on negativity too much. ESFPs enjoy taking risks and are always seeking out adventures and things they find exciting. ESFPs want their lives to be filled with newness and dislike being stagnant for too long.
